This is next game is another fun one to play when players are wanting to have fun, be active, and drink at the same time. This is a great game to play in the mornings of all day drinking affairs to get in the mood of drinking. It is a very simple game to play. All you need for this game is two even teams, one can of beer per person (for each round) and I recommend a place outside to play. You need a place where there’s around 25 feet of open space, this is also a place that could get dirty and spilled on, so it would probably be played best on the grass.
How to play: You set the beer cans or bottles unopened at the designated spot around 25 feet away. After the countdown the first two players of each team race to the designated spot and opens and chugs their beer. After chugging their beer as fast as they spin it around ten times, and then sprints back for the next player to go. The first team to have every player finish wins. You may want to, or need to add rules and penalties about falling, fighting, not finishing, etc. This game gets more fun after a couple rounds or when people are already drunk because the running and spinning can be difficult for some.

Pitch
This next game is another fun game to play when looking for a random game to play. This is another simple game where you can have as many people as wanting to play, as long as you have enough room for them. All you need for this game is a couple people, (I recommend around 5), a descent sized room to play in, plenty of beer, and a different colored poker chip or bottle caps. Every person needs their own color to be able to determine whose is whose.
How to play: A person picks a designated spot away from a wall for everyone to stand. Everyone will throw their chip from that spot and try and get it to land as close to the wall as possible. The person whose chip is farthest away must drink. Loser usually takes around two or three drinks per loss. The loser then determines the next designated spot to throw from. This is a very short and simple game to play to drink. It’s a good game for people who are very competitive and have some energy wanting to be active and not sit around and drink. It’s a very simple game to learn, teach, and play. The hardest part of this game may be finding enough different colored chips for every player.

Background Music
This next game is another fun, simple game that is good for people looking for a drinking game, but not wanting to move much. Any number of people can play. It is a very simple game to learn and play. All you need for this game is a TV or movie, and plenty of beer. I recommend watching TV because there is generally more drinking associated with TV with commercials and everything. This is a game that can last anywhere from two to 30 to 2 hours depending on how long you feel like sitting around.
How to play: Have everyone sitting around watching the TV or movie with a beer and every time the background music or sound changes everyone takes a drink. The amount per drink can be determined by the players. I recommend a solid two or three drinks per music change because people will normally take a little less on every drink. This is a good game for a bunch of guys that just need one little reason and many large beers to get tanked. This is a good way to get the night started when people don’t necessarily feel like drinking yet. It’s a way to make people drink while being able to sit around and watch TV.

3 man
This is another fun game for people wanting to play a little bit of a different game. It’s a simple game to play once the rules are learned. There isn’t any specific number of people needed for this game, but around 3-7 are good limits. All you need for this game is a table to play on, dice, and beer.
How to play: Everyone starts off by rolling one die until someone rolls a three. This person then becomes the three man. The game then proceeds around the circle with people taking turns rolling the dice. The dice are only passed when someone rolls something that does not require drinking. Here is what each roll means:
When dice total:
- 3: Whoever is the three man must drink. If the three man rolls this then he may pass the title to a person of his choosing.
- 7: Person to the right of "roller" drinks
- 9: Person across from "roller" drinks
- 10: Social...everyone drinks
- 11: Person to the left of "roller" drinks
Other dice combinations:
- 4 & 1: Whoever rolls this become the Thumb-Master. They can place their thumb on the table whenever they want. The last person to do this must drink. The Thumb-Master can only change when someone else rolls a 4 & 1.
- Doubles: When someone rolls double they give the dice to someone of their choosing. This person rolls the dice and must drink for that many seconds. The dice may be given to two people instead of giving both to just one person.
At any time during the game the three man can be told to drink. However the person currently rolling may not tell the three man to drink. If he does he must drink.
This is another fun game to play that is a little different type of game. For first time players it may be a good idea to write down dice combinations and all that good stuff so everyone knows what’s going on.

Beer Beats
This next game is another good drinking if you’re trying to drink a lot in a short amount of time. It is a game that can be played with any number of people, as long as you have more than two. This is another simple game that all you need is a lot of beer, and some sort of music with speakers. For your first beer you have the entire song to finish your beer. You can do anything you want to finish it, as long as it’s gone in the allocated time. The second song you have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to finish your beer. On the third song you have 2 minutes to finish your beer. As every song plays the time required decreases by 30 seconds. When you get to 1 minute you start decreasing the time by ten seconds each time to finish your beer. If you can’t finish your beer in the allocated time you have the next song to finish a new beer and the leftover beer to stay in the game. If you cant finish in the amount of time your out. The last man standing win. This is a very intense game that is good if you want a big pregame in a short amount of time. This game may take some practicing to get used too; also you may not want to eat a lot before playing because you will need all the room available in your stomach to play.
war
War is another good drinking game when it comes to two player games. Everyone has played war before so that is not a problem; the only new thing is your adding drinking to the game. This can add up to a lot of drinking for the two individuals playing in a hurry. All you need for this game is a deck of cards and some beer.
This is the same game with some added rules. As the game goes on with every loss of a card that person drinks. This adds to a lot of drinking because each player loses a card with every second. With every tie that comes about the loser of each one takes three drinks per lost tie.
This is a very simple game to play when two people are looking for a drinking game. It can be played anywhere anytime while waiting for others to get ready. It is a very easy game to play for anyone willing for a game that can be started and stopped anytime.

Create your own game
The best part about drinking games is you can create your own at any time. It doesn’t matter if they sound stupid because most things sound more fun when you’re drinking in the first place. The best part about them is they can be created out of anything. Movies, shows, cards, dice, expressions, sayings are a dew of the many different things that can be used to create a new games. These are good because most people have the same groups of games that they play every night so creating a new game to switch things up every now and then is a good idea. These games are usually created when people have been drinking for awhile and new “creative” ideas are brought to the table. These games usually only last for that night because they don’t make any sense the next day when your sober and need a game to play. The games that do make sense and are played the next day are the ones that you want to keep around and continue to teach others so they can pass it along with everyone else they play drinking games with. The key point with these is not to rule anything out. Have fun doing random things and something will come up.

Keg Stand
This is another activity that isn’t necessarily a game but something else that’s fun to do and try to consume a lot of alcohol. This next one is called a keg stand. This is pretty much self explanatory but easy to figure out. You obviously need a keg to be able to pull this off, but after the keg and tap are available you don’t really need anything else other than a couple friends to help hold your legs. Its important for girls to remember to avoid wearing skirts or dresses when partaking in the activities so they don’t give the whole party a show. This is another good activity for people who have problems drinking beer at a fast pace, also a good one for people who want to compete by seeing how long they can go for one stand. For this someone starts counting as soon as the person starts and as soon as the person stops they stop counting. The person who lasts the longest wins. To make sure everything works right you need a couple different people to help to everything goes smoothly. Depending on the size of the person depends on how many people you need to hold up your legs. The person taking the keg stand will need to hold their upper half up with both hands on the edge of the keg. The last person will be needed to pump it so beer flows as well as hold the tap near the person’s mouth so they will be able to continue drinking. This is a very easy thing for people to do and a fun way to drink a lot in a short amount of time.
beerbong
This next activity is not necessarily a game but another fun activity for friends and a great way to pregame if you don’t have a lot of time available. This is about taking beer-bongs. Beer bongs are the best method if you want to drink a lot of beer in a short amount of time. With it, it only takes a few seconds to chug a beer. It helps people who cannot drink fast to drink beer. It is also very easy to build a new one if you don’t have one around. All you need for this is a funnel and a tube around 3 feet long to fit into the funnel. Make sure the tube fits snugly into the funnel so that nothing can leak out of it.
Now that you have a beer bong there are a few different ways to use them so they are more fun with friends. If you have two or more made you can have races among friends. This is good for guys who are always claiming they can drink beer faster than anyone else. You can also build bongs with long tubes so you can take bongs from multiple stories. You can also have fun building them with huge funnels and multiple tubes so you can have many people taking them at once. These are a little more difficult to build, but you will receive a lot more attention owning a beer bong that eight to ten people can drink out of.

Beer balls
Beer balls is another fun, active game that is fun for when you want another active game to play when drinking. It is a four person game, and a very simple one for people to pick up right away. All you need for this game is a can of beer for each person (more if you want to play multiple games), a table with some room around each corner to be able to move around, and a ping pong ball.
How to play: each beer can is put on the corner of each table and partners are on the same side of the table. One team starts by throwing the ping pong ball at the beer can that is sitting on the table. As soon as the ball hits the can, the partner of the person who threw the ball cracks open their beer and begins to drink. As soon at the opponent pick up the ball and touch the table with it, the person must stop drinking. If the thrower misses the beer can completely no one drinks and the turn is lost back to their opponent. Only one person can be drinking each turn, after one teammate finishes their beer they can help drink their partner’s beer only in the designated time after hitting the can. The throwing team cannot touch or move the ball in any way after they have thrown it, but they can stand in the way of the opponent so it takes them longer to retrieve the ball. If a partner picks of the ball on the opposite side of the table they can then throw the ball to their partner to touch the table to make their opponent stop drinking. The first team to finish both beers wins.

Louisville Chugger
Louisville chugger is another fun activity that can be brought outside now that its getting warmer again. This isn’t your ordinary game; this is a game that should be played outside so that you don’t break anything inside. All you need for this game is some open space outside, a plastic bat with a hole cut in the end, plastic ball, and plenty of beer. It is best played with a group of people of maybe around 5-7 people. It can be played with any number of people but you would probably want more than 3 people because it would be a lot of work to chase the ball and then to drink a lot in a short amount of time. This is a fun game to participate as well as watch others embarrass themselves.
How to play: To start, a person starts with the plastic ball, and another with the bat. The other people can stand in the “outfield” so you don’t have to chase the ball all over the place. You probably want a person behind the batter as well because there’s a good chance of people missing, and quite possibly falling shortly after. The batter puts beer into the bat, chugs it, puts their forehead on the top of the bat, does 5 circles, then try to hit the ball that is being pitched to them. This is a fun activity for friends to get outside, play some games, and have some laughs, and it continues to get better the longer you play. Vision and hand eye coordination will continue to decrease as the afternoon goes on which will add to more excitement. This is a great game to play if you want something new, something with a little exercise, and guaranteed a lot of laughs.

Hockey
Hockey is another fun game that takes some a little time to learn as well as a little luck to play. It is a four player game. All you need for this game is a table to play on, a full deck of cards, and plenty of beer to drink. This is a game where its important to make sure the teams are fair before start so the two people who haven’t played before are on the same team.
How to play: The game is set up like hockey. There are three periods and the person who scores the most goals at the end of the game wins. After each period the score is tallied up, and whoever loses must drink the number of seconds they lost by.
You start by having the partners sit across from each other. Partners cannot talk to each other about their hand, nor hint in any way of what they have. All the cards are dealt out. A person scores by playing the same card as their opponent did right in front of them. For example if player 1 throws a King, player 2 throws a 7, player 3 throws a Queen, and player 4 throws a Queen. Player 4 would score that round for player 2 and 4. Its important to remember each card that has been played to learn what cards are safe for you to throw. There are two safe cards, Jacks and eights. Players cannot score on the safe cards so they are good to have in your hand. It is a challenging game to learn right away, but it is a fun game to play when you have a couple of friends around wanting to drink. Its unlike most other drinking games where you actually have to pay close attention throughout the whole game.

Beerflip
This is a fun game I just recently learned that combines beer pong and flippy cup into one exciting, fast moving game. This is a 4 person game with two people on a team. All you need for this game is a table, 10 plastic cups, two ping pong balls, and some beer.
How to play: Each player stands across the table from their teammate and lines five cups in a row in front of them towards their teammate. A beer is usually split into the five cups, so that each cup is around 1/5 full. Once everyone has 5 cups full of beer in front of them the game is ready to start. When someone says go one player from each time shoots the ping pong ball into the teammate’s cup. If they make it the person drinks the cup and must flip it over onto its top before someone can shoot again. While the person is drinking they can throw the ball back to their teammate so they can be ready to shoot once the cup is successfully flipped. Any team member can shoot at any time; there aren’t any rules on shooting turns. The first team to have all ten cups made and successfully flipped wins. If the ball falls onto the floor the opponent can throw or kick the ball across the room if they want too. This is where the game gets fun because there are people diving all over the floor to make sure they get the ball before it is kicked across the room. The only rule with that is you cannot hit the person or ball when they are shooting. This is a fun active game to play to drink a lot and have fun doing it.

March Madness
Being that March Madness is starting today, I figured I would come out with a drinking game to all basketball games. You can make drinking games out of anything on TV whether shows, movies, or anything as long as you make rules to drink with. This is a fun way to add a little more excitement into the games. All you need for this game is a TV to watch and a bit of beer to drink, and preferably some comfortable chairs all around.
Here are some rules broken down into different categories to help try and remember them all. I recommend have all the rules written down in front of you because it’s a lot to remember especially if your drinking.
Drink when the announcers…
-when they say each others name- 1 drink
-when they talk about a past tournament – 3 drinks
-after a fake argument – drink 5
-if they call someone scrappy –drink 5
Drink during the game your watching if…
-any 3 point attempt -1 drink
-for any fast break points – 2 drinks
-for any timeout – 1 drink
- if you see a mascot dancing – 2 drinks
- any ball lands in the stands – 4 drinks
-every turn-over – 1 drink
-any shooting foul – 1 drink
-any air ball or shot clock violation – 3 drinks
-any technical foul – 5 drinks
During the commercials…
- for every “proud sponsor” – 1 drink
-for every university commercial – 2 drinks
-for any CBS drama preview – 2 drinks
In your place…
-If someone mentions money on a game – 2 drinks
-if the channel is changed – 1 drink
-if you mispronounce a name – 1 drink
-if you miss a basket – 2 drinks
- if you don’t know where a school is 2 drinks
In your bracket…
-if your pick loses the tip – 2 drinks
-if your pick loses by 20 points – 4 drinks
-for incorrectly calling an upset – 3 drinks
-for every wrong game you pick – 5 drinks
This is a fun game during March Madness to add a little more excitement to the games. This will add up to a lot of drinking if you watch multiple games in a day, but you can change the rules, or drinks associated with any of them.

In-between the sheets
This is another fun game for a large group of people. The game is called in-between the sheets. It can be played at any setting, party or pregame with little preparation. All you need for this game is a full deck of cards, a table to play on, and some extra drinks on the side. This game is somewhat similar to a couple other games I’ve listed already so it shouldn’t be too hard to learn. Its an easy game to pick up and learn, as well as introduce others on the fly so anyone can play this game.
How to play: The dealer is chosen, usually the person who decides to bring the game together will start as the dealer. The dealer will start by laying down two cards face up side by side while still leaving space in the middle for a third card to fit. The person to the left of the dealer will go first and guess if the third card is going to be in the middle of the two, or on the outside. If the person is right on their guess they can give out the predetermined amount of drinks to whomever they choose. If the person is wrong then they have to drink. The amount of drinks has to be predetermined before the game starts so everyone knows and there is no arguing.
For example if the dealer lays down a Queen and a 6, and the third card is a 10. If the player guessed in-between then they would be right and get to give out drinks. If they guessed outside it would have been wrong and they would have had to drink. If the third card is the same as one of the first two cards the player who is guessing must drink double no matter what they have guessed. The deck continues to get passed around the circle so everyone has a chance to play and give out drinks. It’s a fun game for a group of people.

Shazam
Shazam is a fun game to play with your friends for another good drinking game. This game is similar to a couple others I have already mentioned, so it is a good game to play without being hard to learn. This game is best played with at least four players. All you need for this game is a table to play on, a full deck of cards, and plenty of beer to drink.
How to play: The deck of cards is spread out in a circle face down around the table. The first person draws a card and that determines what is done. This game is different because it depends on what cards are picked to determine which actions should be taken. Drinks are given out by the face value of the card, and its suit. Ace is one drink, 2 is two drinks, jack is 11 drinks, and so on. When the King is drawn, everyone yells Shazam, toasts their cup in the middle and then the fifteen drinks are given out by the suit of the card.
How the suits come into play:
Heart- Person to right drinks the Value
Diamond- Person to the left drinks the Value
Spade- Give out the Value to whomever
Club- Drink the Value
It’s a fun game to play where a bit of drinking is required and is good because the card determines which individual is going to drink that particular round. Once all the cards are drawn the deck is shuffled, put around in a circle and started all over again.
How to play: The deck of cards is spread out in a circle face down around the table. The first person draws a card and that determines what is done. Pass the pitcher
Pass the pitcher is a fun game for a group of people that want to go to a bar and drink a lot in a short amount of time. This is a good game at a bar where they have cheap pitchers. At school we have a bar that has $1.50 pitchers Wednesday and Saturday and $2 pitchers every other day, so this is an example of a good place to play because they are cheap. It is also important to go to a bar that allows this; most should as long as you’re not causing a lot of trouble. All you need for this game is a group of people, and a bar where pitchers are sold, no cups are needed.
How the game is played: Everyone sits around a table with one pitcher for everyone. The first person takes a drink of the pitcher, as much or as little as they want but they can only take one breath at a time. The pitcher it’s passed around, everyone getting their turn to take a drink until the pitcher is almost empty. Whoever finishes the pitcher, the person who drank right before them must buy the next pitcher because he or she left enough in it to be able to be finished. This takes some thinking along with the drinking because you don’t want to leave enough for the next person to be able to finish so you have to buy the next pitcher. This is a fun game that can result in a lot of beer being drank in a short amount of time. It’s also good because some people can play the whole game without having to buy a pitcher.

Drink
This next game is another one that is very similar to a previous game I have listed called elephant. It is another game where it is best played in a party setting where you don’t need to group everyone together to play. All you need for this game is the cup you’re drinking out of, and a lot of beer. This is why it is best played at a party because there could be several times where you need to fill up back to back if you are not paying attention. This is another game where people have to know what’s going on and how to play. It is best established at the beginning of a party with people saying that the game is starting.
How to play: This game is played where you ALWAYS must have the cup in your right hand. If anyone playing sees you with your cup in your left hand they call you on it and tell you to drink. Whatever you have left in your cup must be finished if you are called out. As soon as you drink it, you go fill your cup back up again and the game starts all over again. This game goes all night long, so players always have to be paying attention to what hand their cup is in. There are no excuses; if you have your cup in your left hand and are caught you must drink, no matter what the circumstance. It is a fun game that is very easy to learn and can be played all night long with all your friends without having to set up in a group.

Power Hour
This next one isn’t necessarily a game, but something fun to do with friends to switch up pre-gamming every now and then. It’s a lot of fun when you can get a descent size group of people maybe around eight to ten where everyone can sit down. This one is called power hour. All you need for this game is a bunch of beer, as many shot glasses as you have people, and some type of music.
For this you will be taking a shot of beer every minute. This may not seem like a whole lot, but after a while you stomach really fills up. There are many different things that you can download that will play a song for a minute and then switch automatically. You can download mixes of any genre of music, so what ever you like listening to, or whatever you’re in the mood for, you can have it all.
Some people play with double shot glasses to drink more, and others play for 100 minutes to be a part of the “century club”. This all depends on how much you want to drink. Most of the time people do this for a pre-game so they try not to drink a ton because they are going out to drink more after it is done.

keg race
This next one isn’t necessarily a game, but more of a competition among a big group of friends. The more players you have, the better this competition will be. The game at hand is keg races. You obviously need at least two teams to play, but the more teams you have the more fun it is. Each team generally has around 8-12 people and both teams should be split evenly with males and females. The bigger the house the better, because it allows more teams to play and compete. It is best done in the same house/apartment so that the teams can actually see their competitor and not have any excuses when a certain team loses. This must be planned in advance to make sure everyone can show up. It is best when there are multiple teams and there is a theme for the event. Each team should then have a team name and create shirts for everyone.
Players can consume the beer in any way they want. Games, bongs, and anything else that will help consume the beer faster is fair game. Some people play where if you puke you cannot continue, others do not have this rule, so it is important to have all rules set up before it is started. Depending on how many players you have, and how much time you want to spend on this, you can make it a pregame event, or an all night activity. Whichever you choose to make it, either way it is a fun way to spend the night giving the winning team bragging rights. And in all reality every player is the winner because every player consumes a lot of alcohol, and this is the reason for playing originally.

Elephant
Elephant is a random party game that is fun because it can’t be played all throughout the night even during other games going on at the same time. This is a good game because you don’t need to group people together to play, can involve being creative and tricky, and can involve a lot of drinking. This game is best played at keg parties because everyone should have the same size plastic cups. This is a game that only works if some of the people know how to play. It can be easily picked up by everyone, but can never be truly started if people don’t know the rules. All you need to play this game is a cup, a lot of beer, and a smaller object. We usually used the plastic cap that comes on top of the keg, but you can use anything you have around.
How the game is played: one person grabs the plastic object and goes around the room finding other people he knows are playing and puts the plastic object into that person’s cup. If the plastic object successfully makes it into the person’s cup they have to finish whatever else they have in the cup, and then it is up to that person to find another player to keep the game going and make them drink. There aren’t rules necessarily to the game, but more of guidelines like you can’t keep your hand over the top of your cup blocking it because that wouldn’t be fair. It happens, but people are called out all the time for “cheating” and blocking their cup. This is a fun game that can involve many people without necessarily gathering and sitting people in a circle. People can continue to enjoy their night socializing with whoever they want without excluding themselves from everyone playing a game.

Turrets
Turrets is a fun game to play with a group of people. It can be played with a large group because it is a fast-moving game and everyone has to be paying attention or else they won’t do well in the game. All you need for this game is a deck of cards, table to play around, and a lot of beer.
The game is played between two people at a time. A dealer flips over the top card and the two people that are playing in that particular round say a word that starts with the letter of the card shown. Players say the first word that comes to their mouth. However they cannot say names, numbers, or something that’s already been said. For example, the dealer flips over a 5 one person could say fork; the other player could say fun. Both answers would be correct as long as they hadn’t been said before. It’s funny to hear some of the things people say, especially after they’ve been drinking for a while. The player who wins takes that specific card and places it in front of them and the deck is passed to the next person in line. The player who loses that round takes a drink. The same thing starts again with the winner and the person behind the player who lost. The dealer keeps the deck as long as that same player keeps winning. Once that player loses the deck is passed to the next person in line. After all the cards in the deck are passed out the game is over. The player who has the most cards at the end of the game gets to give out 10 drinks or a beer, or whatever the predetermined rate is. After the drinks have been taken, the game starts all over again.

About me
I am a senior at Illinois State University. It seems like yesterday I was moving into my dorm room freshman year, it’s gone by way too fast. Luckily ill be here an extra semester so I’m not quite done yet. I am an average college kid, makes an attempt to go to class and get good grades in classes while having a bit of fun during the weekends. Whether it was finding house parties, drinking in the dorm/apartment or deciding what bars to go to normally every Thursday-Saturday were filled by some sort of drinking. This doesn’t necessarily make me an expert in the category by any means, but I like to think of myself as a knowledgeable person in the category that can share some interesting information. Throughout my four years here at college I have learned some interesting things to make college more entertaining. Throughout my blog posts and pillar articles I have tried listing several ways to make college more fun. I have listed many different types of games including all different sorts of materials needed to keep switching things up and keeping it interesting, so if you need any help making drinking more fun check out my sites for better information.

Get me a beer
Get me a beer is a good game that can be played anytime or anywhere. It is best played at a party. The best part about this game is that no one has to set it up, and it can only be played with two players at a time. The only thing you need for this game is a drink and a backup drink because one will be needed if it is started. This can be turned into a game, but is more of a challenge between friends.
How game is started: A person walks up to someone else and tells them to “get me a beer”. This is how the game is initiated. The person who was challenged can submit and get that person a beer, or challenge the person. The only thing is the person who does the challenging must have as much, if not more beer than the person they challenge. If the person does not want to give in the two will race to see who wins.
If the challenger wins the race, the loser must get the winner a beer and night continues. If the challenger loses, he may not challenge the winner for the rest of the night, plus he has to get him drinks for the rest of the night. As much as this is a drinking thing, it is also about pride. If the person declines the challenge they may be made fun of for the next couple minutes. If the challenger loses they will be made fun of for the rest of the night and be reminded of it every time they have to get the person a new beer. This is a fun game that can be played with only two but can spread throughout the party so that eventually everyone is involved and getting people drinks.

Sink or Swim
Sink or swim is a good game for parties. This game can be played with any amount of people, the more the better because this adds more excitement to the game. All you need for this game is a pitcher that is filled up with beer. Throughout the night the pitcher should be filled up and hidden somewhere where only the players know where it is. This is important because if anyone else knows where it is they will drink it and it will be gone. This isn’t such a big deal because most likely you will be able to fill it back up again if it’s drank, but if the kegs are dry and the pitcher is empty than you cannot play. This is a fun way to end a party as long as you have a pitcher and can hide it somewhere. At the end of the night place a shot glass carefully into the pitcher (and yes it floats). Its best if the pitcher is half full, because if it is completely full no one will be able to finish it in a short amount of time. After you get the pitcher out, you need to gather all the people around that want to play. After everyone is found every person takes a turn pouring a drop of beer into the shot glass. It is important for each person to try and only poor one drop into the glass, or they will be the one to drink it. It keeps going around the circle with each player pouring a drop into the shot glass. The person who makes the shot glass sink is the one who loses and has to drink the pitcher. This can also be played anytime, back to back as well if people will sit around and continue to be able to drink the pitcher.

Ewdard 40 hands
Edward 40-hands is not necessarily a game, but is something different for a pregame. It can turn in a competition depending on who’s playing and if people want to race. All you need for this is a big role of duct tape, and everyone playing needs to buy two 40’s. Recently I heard someone saying they played with Andre, just something to consider if you don’t want to drink beer. Either way both options are pretty cheap, so it just depends on personal preferences.
This is best done with a spectator, or someone who is only drinking one 40 because each hand needs to be taped to a 40, so this can be difficult for the last person to wrap their hands because everyone else’s hands will already be full. I recommend going to the bathroom before you start because it’s a lot of liquid to drink at one time, and you can’t undo your hands until both 40’s are gone. I also recommend not eating a huge meal right before starting for basically the same reason with a lot of fluid in your stomach that you don’t want coming back up.
Like I said this isn’t necessarily a game, but you’d be surprised with the interesting “games” people come up with, without any hands. That’s part of the fun thinking up new and stupid ideas to help consume it faster. It’s also something different that’s fun to do with a smaller group of people, so there are still interactions. I guess as many people can play as you have room for in your apartment, but that takes away some of the fun without being able to communicate with everyone in the room.

Chandeliers
Chandeliers is a fun game that can be played with many people that is very interactive and intense. For this game you will need a couple quarters, a big table, a couple pitchers of beer, and one more plastic cup than players. It is best played anywhere from 5-9 players depending on how much space is available on the table.
Set up: Everyone will fill up their own cup ¼, 1/5 of the way full with beer and place them in front of themselves touching each other around the middle cup that is full of beer. Everyone must know which cup is their own.
How to play: One person will start with the quarter. That player will bounce the quarter into one of the cups in the middle of the table. Depending on which cup the player makes the quarter in determines who drinks. As long as a player continues to make the quarter in a cup they will continue to shoot till they miss. When they miss, no one drinks and the quarter is passed onto the next person. If a player makes the quarter into an individuals cup that player must drink their cup (why its important to know who’s cup is who’s), fill it back up and put it back in the circle- (or honeycomb with the cup in the middle). If a player makes the quarter into the center cup (full cup) everyone must finish their beer and then flip their cup over. The last player to drink their beer and flip their cup over must drink the cup in the middle too. Once the player finishes the middle cup each cup is filled back up and placed around the center of the table for the game to start again. This is an intense game where players can drink a lot in a hurry if they are picked on or not very good at flipping their cup.

High Low, Red Black
High low, red black is a good game when there are only two or three people around wanting to play a game. This is a very easy game to learn and play. All you need for this game is a deck of cards, table to play on, and something to drink; I recommend beer because the drinks can add up. Depending on how many people are playing, and how much everyone wants to drink you can determine how much of the deck of cards to use. With two people you can split the deck evenly so each person only has to go through half the deck, into thirds with three people playing, or each person can go through the whole deck. Any amount can be determined, but it’s easier to decide upon a percentage where you can split the cards up without having to count them out.
How to play: One person is the dealer and will have the deck for the entire time an individual is going. To start the dealer flips over a card face up, and that’s the card the decisions are made. On every card a player may guess high, low, red, or black on a card. If a player guesses the card right, they move onto the next card that is flipped down onto the original one. If the player gets it wrong, they take a drink and once again the card is flipped onto the original one. If the same card is flipped onto each other the player is automatically wrong and must drink. The game is over when the player gets through the amount of cards that were established at the beginning, and then it’s time to switch, the player becomes the dealer and the dealer becomes the player and they do it all over again.

Thunderstruck
Thunderstruck
This is a fun game that can come up randomly anywhere. This could be at your own apartment, small party, or in the middle of a room at a large kegger. This is an easy game to play because all you need is a lot of beer and something to play music. This is best played with a good number of people because this can turn into a lot of drinking if there are only a couple people playing. This is good because the song Thunderstruck can come up anytime and the game is played.
How the game is played: The game starts as soon as the song starts. The word thunder is said many times throughout the song, and every time it is said a new player starts drinking. Until thunder is said again, that person will continue to drink until the next persons turn arises. You will need a lot of beer for this game, so try and have plenty nearby if you know you are going to play. Its fun because the word thunder could come up two seconds or thirty seconds after it is said the first time, so some people could get unlucky and get stuck on a couple times where they have to drink for a long time. Its also best played when the game starts randomly because you have to put it together soon and be prepared to drink a lot.

Sevens
Sevens is a good game to play that doesn’t take much to learn. It is best played with around 5 players, you don’t want much fewer than that because there can be a lot of drinking that comes with it, so you want more players to distribute the drinks. It’s an easy game to play because you only need full a deck of cards, table, and lots of beer.
To start: Take out all the sevens in the deck and place them in a line in the middle of the table. After that, deal out the rest of the cards to everyone at the table. Each player will want to place the cards in their own suit from low to high.
How to play: This game is played by adding cards on each side up and down from the seven, but each card must be played on top of its own suit. The first player starts by placing the card closest to the seven. If cards are played in order they can give out as many drinks as cards. For example if someone plays a 6 of clubs on the 7 of clubs, they can give out two drinks, if someone plays a 4 of spades, on the 5,6,7,8,9,10, they would give out seven drinks to whomever and can be up to 14 drinks if the 2-Ace are played. Ace is high. If a player cannot link cards together they must drink the difference of all the cards. For example if someone plays a 5 of hearts next to the 7 of hearts, they must take three drinks. Even if there is a run of 6-Queen, and they play a 4 they take eight drinks because that’s how many cards were missed. This is a fun game where the drinking can really add up in a hurry.

Even if there is a run of 6-Queen, and they play a 4 they take eight drinks because that’s how many cards were missed. This is a fun game where the drinking can really add up in a hurry.

Horse Races
Horse races is a fun game that can be a very fun game if there is a person who has a lot of energy and is very outgoing, this person will need to have the deck. This is another good game to play because all you need is a deck of card, a bigger table to play on and of course a big pitcher of beer.
To setup: the four Aces in the deck need to be pulled out and put in a row by themselves. Next the dealer places eight cards face down in front of each other next to the Aces. So before you start the design will look like an L.
Before you start each player must pick out which suit (Ace=horse) will win the race. Every player then determines how many drinks they “bet” on the horse, any player can choose anywhere from 1 drink to a full cup. When the race is over, depending on which horse (suit) wins determines which players will be able to give out drinks and which players have to take the drinks. If the player made the correct bet, they are then able to give out however much was bet previous to the start. If they player bet on the wrong horse they have to take the amount of drinks that they originally bet.
How the race works: This is best done when the dealer acts like it is an actual race and gets excited about every card that is flipped over. The dealer flips over the left-over cards to determine which horse moves up (the suit that is flipped moves that card forward), the first horse that passes the 8 cards wins. Once every horse has passed the card face down on the side, that card is flipped over and whatever suit it is, that horse must be moved back. The first horse to move past the flipped over cards win, and a new race is started.

Connections
Connections is a fun game that can be played with pretty much any number of people. It is best played however with 5-7 players. It’s a fun game that keeps everyone interested the whole time because everyone can all be connected at the same time. It’s a good game because all you need is a full deck of cards, a table to play around, and a big pitcher of beer. Throughout the game there is only one dealer this can be anyone, easiest way to choose is whoever knows how to play or whoever has the deck of cards when the game is selected.
To play: The dealer starts by flipping a card over face up to the person to the left of them. This will continue to go around the table, having the dealer flip over each card face up to everyone playing until all the cards are gone.
Where the drinking comes into play: Every person who is connected at the same with similar cards has to drink the amount on the card. For example if one person has a King of diamonds and the next person has a 4 of diamonds, the first person has 13 drinks and the second player has four seconds. Players are connected by suits as well as numbers. Everyone at the table can be connected if the cards lay out right. Players can be connected by suits and numbers; for example a 4 of diamonds can be connected to a 6 of diamonds who is connected to a 6 of hearts who is connected with a Jack of hearts. Each person just listed would be connected and each player should drink the amount on the card. If the next card that is flipped over connects with the last one everyone that was just mentioned is connected all over again and needs to drink.

Bullshit BS
B-S is a fun game that is played around a counter table that requires some memorization as well as some creative thinking. This is best played with a group of people anywhere from around 3-8 people. All you need for this game is a full deck of cards, pitcher of beer to keep the game moving, and a table to play around.
To play: To start, deal four cards to everyone at the table. The players cannot look at their cards until told to do so, its important that they don’t cheat and look before hand. Next the dealer puts five cards, all face down in a row, then four above it, three, two and one, so it looks like a big triangle when all the cards are on the table. Once all cards are out the players will have a couple seconds literally 2-3 seconds) to memorize their cards, players do not need to remember the suits. Each player must remember which card is which when they put the cards back on the table.
The game is started with one person flipping over one of the cards in the row with six cards. This row is worth 2 drinks, next row 4 drinks, then 6, 8, and the last row with 10. At any card that is flipped over any person can tell someone else to take the amount of drinks that go along with it. If the player receiving the drinks doesn’t believe the person who game them they call BS on the player and the player must flip over the correct card. If they don’t have the card, or chose their wrong card they have to take double, but if they show the correct card the other person has to drink double. So if the game was in the second row and someone didn’t believe that person, there would be 8 drinks that would be given to one of the two people. So you can lie about having certain cards to make others drink. It can add up quickly though especially if someone calls out the last card for 20 drinks.
When all cards in the triangle have been flipped over each player says what each card is before flipping it over, and does this with all cards. If a player is wrong with any card they have to drink the difference between the two cards. For example, if the player calls a 7 and flips over a Jack the player must take 4 drinks and continue to the next card.

Baseball
Baseball is a fun game to play when you want a little more action in a game. It is usually played with six or eight people, but must have equal numbers to make the teams fair. All you need to play is 6 plastic cups, quarters, and a pitcher full of beer. This is best played on a long skinny table that is about waste high.
The game follow the rules of baseball, hence the name. Depending on how much you want to drink you can play anywhere from 3, 6, 9 innings. It is played with four cups in a row at the end of the table. The cup closest to the players has a ¼ cup, second cup ½, third cup ¾, and last cup is full. The last two cups are filled up ¼ and each one is placed on each side of the table in front of each team these cups will come into play with stealing – I will talk about this later.
To start: One team starts shooting first. Each player shoots individually. You have to bounce the quarter off the table into one of the four cups; if you miss it is an out. When a team has three outs their turn is over and it’s up to the other team. Once the second team makes their three outs the first inning is over, and the second inning starts. The first cup indicated a single, second-double, third-triple, and the fourth cup is a home run. If a player hits his single and the next player hits a double there will be runners on second and third. If the next player hits a double, it will score 2 runs and the runner will be on second base. Each team must pay attention to where the runners are, how many runs have scored, and how many outs there are at all times so there is no fighting or confusion. If a team has a runner on base, (at any time) a player on that team can drink the side up and flip the cup over on the other side. If the team on defense flips it over before the offensive team it’s an out, if the offensive team beats the defensive team it is a successful steal. The game is over when the predetermined amount of innings is over, and the team with the most runs, wins.

Presidents
Presidents, also called Asshole is a fun drinking game that requires some thinking instead of pure luck. This game is commonly played without drinking, so if you know how to play you can skip the directions and look straight to the drinking aspect. This is a game you can play with several people, and all you need is a full deck of cards and beer.
To Start: The dealer deals out all the cards to everyone. To start the first time the player with the three of clubs starts, every time after that the president starts. The is a game where all you have to do is beat the person who just played before you, so if someone played a 6, you have to at least play a 7, or if someone plays two Queens, you have to play at least two Kings. Two’s are clears, which means if you cant beat what was played, throw the 2 which clears the pile and whoever threw the 2 plays the next card as well. 4’s are socials. If you cannot beat what was played before you, you can throw a 4 then everyone drinks and it moves onto the next person. You can also play the same card (like an 8 on an 8) which skips the next person. The objective is to get rid of your cards first. The first person to get rid of all their cards is president. Next person is vice president, and so on until the last two who are vice ass-hole and asshole. It is the job of the asshole to shuffle and deal the cards to everyone, during this time is the only time where the asshole can tell anyone to drink. Any other time you can make people drink as long as you have higher standing than they do (example president can make everyone drink; vice president can make everyone drink but the president, etc). Also once the cards are dealt the president asks the asshole for any two cards, and the VP asks the vice-asshole for any one card. Once that is done the new game starts and the president plays the first card.

Moose
Moose is a fun game that can be played with a descent number of people. For this game you will need quarters, an ice tray from your freezer, and beer. This is best played on a kitchen counter if it is large enough for six to eight people to stand around. It also is a very easy game to play and teach to others who have never played before.
To Start: A full plastic cup of beer is set on the table, and the ice tray is propped up onto the plastic cup so it is sitting on a slant. Each person will shoot two quarters at every turn. Each player must bounce the quarter on the table and try and land it in the ice tray. If a player lands the quarter in the left side of the ice tray the person must take as many drinks as the quarter went. If a player lands the quarter in the right side of the ice tray the player gets to give out as many drinks as the quarter went back. If a player lands each quarter on the right and left side of the 4th row they must gave and take four drinks, they do not cancel each other out. If a player misses the tray on both shots they take two drinks. If a player lands a quarter in the last row (the farther row away from the player) everyone must put their hands to their head (like antlers) and say moose. The last person to put their hands up and say moose takes the drinks, doesn’t matter what side the quarter lands on. If a player shoots it over the ice tray and makes it into the plastic beer cup they must chug the whole cup before the game can be resumed.

Circle of Death
Circle of death is another good game for a large group of people. All you need for this game is a full deck of cards, table space, and beer. Any number of people can play as long as they fit around the table. There are many different rules to this game, so I suggest writing the rules out before starting so there is no confusion or complication throughout the game. The cards are spread face down on the table in a circle, and each player goes in order drawing a card. Each card has specific rules.
2,3,5,6,7,8- depend on color of card.
Red you give out the amount of the card (red-blood-give blood)
Black you take the amount on the card
4-girls
- Anytime a 4 is drawn all girls playing have to drink, same with 6 and guys
6-guys
9- Rhyme. The person who drew the 9 picks a word that everyone has to rhyme too. It goes around to each person until someone cannot think of a word or names one that has already been said. Usually a couple seconds are given to list their response. The person who cannot come up with a new rhyme takes a drink and starts back with the person next in line from who drew the 9 originally.
10- Rule- You can create any rule and everyone playing has to abide by it, and every time someone breaks the rule they have to drink. Common rules- no swearing, no first names, cant say certain words, anything you think will be hard for people to follow is always a good rule.
Jack- jack-back. No one drinks; the order of who draws the cards is reversed.
Queen- Questionmaster. This person can ask anyone at the table questions with trying to get them to respond. The only answer a person can have to the questionmaster is by answering with another question. If they simply answer the question they have to drink. It’s fun to trick people into answering questions. Once the next queen is drawn that person is the new questionmaster and the first person no longer has that power.
King- Category. This person picks a category in which everyone else has to list something else in the category. Colors, types of beer, types of paintball guns, anything can be used for people to list. Once again this goes around the table until a person cannot think of one or already says one that has been said already, and takes a drink.
Ace-Waterfall. Whoever drew the Ace gets to start it and goes around the table in the order of rotation of the deck. Everyone starts drinking at the same time, and you cannot stop drinking until the person in front of you stops. This can be a lot if someone takes awhile to stop, or if you are the last person to stop.

Flippy Cup
Flippy cup is a good game for a good number of people; however you need an even number of people to play. For this game you need plastic Solo cups and a long skinny table, preferably outside because there will be a lot of beer that spills off the table. Each player should also have their own individual cup, plus a big pitcher is useful so everyone doesn’t have to leave and fill up individually after each game.
To Start: every player fills the plastic Solo cup up a ¼ or 1/5 full of beer and should be standing across their opponent. There are two teams of equal players, with each team on their own side of the table. One group of opponents are chosen to start. It’s customary for the first two to touch cups, then table, and then drink your beer. Once the beer is drank you put the cup rightside up on the edge of the table and try and flip it with a couple fingers so it flips over and lands upside down on the table. This may take some practice to get used to, but the concept shouldn’t be very difficult to understand. Once the first person successfully flips their cup over it is the next persons turn to drink their beer and start flipping. The next person doesn’t start until the person before has flipped their cup, doesn’t matter how many tries it takes. The first team to have all members drink their beer and successfully flip their cup over wins. It is usually played in a best of 5 or 7 series to determine which team is better.

Irish Poker
This is a good game that a lot of people can play and stay into the game the whole time because it should move along pretty quickly. This game is good for up to ten people because any more than that you won’t have enough cards to finish. All you need for this game is a full deck of cards, playing surface for the cards, and beer.
In this game there is only one dealer and they keep the deck the whole time. It starts with the person to the left of the dealer guessing red or black (for what card the dealer will flip over). This goes around to everyone at the table. If you guess the color right you get to give out two drinks to anyone, if you guess wrong you have to take the two drinks. Once everyone has taken the first turn the second round starts with guessing higher or lower on your first card that was dealt. There are four drinks to be given in this round, again if you get it right you give them out, and if wrong take them. The third round you have to guess whether the third card will be in-between or outside of your first two cards. For example if your first card was a 4 and second a King, you would likely guess in-between to play your odds. During the second and third round if you are given the same card as you already had, you have to drink double the amount (if you have a 4 and 6, and the third round gives you another 6 you have to take 12 drinks). This goes around to everyone at the table and six drinks will be given at this round. The final fourth round each player guesses which suit they think the card will be, there are eight drinks to give/take with this round. You can always split up the number of drinks to be given to multiple people.
When that is done and if you still have 9 cards left over you can ride the bus. This is a little different than the last blog because there are more people; you set it up the same way though. Once again it’s like a bus with four cards parallel to each other and one in the middle of both (the driver), so it should look like a bus. One card is flipped over at a time, the left side is give, and right side is take. If you have one of the cards that are flipped, you either give or take drinks depending on what side it is. It starts at one side of the back of the bus and every row moved forward is another 2 drinks. So it goes 2,4,6,8 and the last row is give 10 drinks. If you have two of the same cards and that card is flipped during the bus you either give or take double the original amount.

Ride the Bus
This is a great game when there are only two or three people wanting to play a game and drink before they go out for the night. This is also a good game because all you need is cards and beer so you don’t need to find anything special around the apartment. This game is also linked into another drinking card game, so once you learn this one, you can play another game called Irish poker which I will discuss in my next post. This is a simple game that requires no skill or talent, just using common sense.
To play: each round there will always be one person who is the dealer and one person who is “riding the bus” the dealer deals out 9 cards all face up on the table. Four cards parallel to four more cards, and one card in the middle of the two. It will look like a bus with the rows and the driver in the middle. The person who is not dealing starts at one of the two ends and is trying to make it up to the front of the bus then to the back on the other side to get off –of the bus. On every card you can guess high, low, red or black, whichever works best for the odds (For example if the card on the table is a 4 of spades the person would most likely guess higher). The dealer flips over the card from the top of the pile that’s not on the table. If they get it right the person moves up the row onto the second card. This continues until you guess wrong. If a card is guessed wrong, you drink as many seconds as how many cards you had right until then, so you could drink up to 8 seconds then to start from the beginning again. The game is won once the person goes through up and down the rows and gets off the bus. Then the roles switch and the dealer becomes the rider and rider becomes the dealer. If a person goes through the whole deck without getting off the bus all cards are shuffled and starts over again. It is a fun game for two that can lead to drinking a big in a short amount of time.
Beer Dye
Beer Dye is a game that is different than your ordinary drinking games. This is more for the truly competitive people who have good hand eye coordination. There can only be four people playing at one. This game requires things that most games do not usually call for. You need: a long table, open space, string, tape, dice, 4 big plastic cups and beer. You will most likely want to play this game with beer because randomly throughout the game you may have to chug your whole drink. There are a some variations in some of the small details, but its all pretty much the same. To set up the table is best at the length around your knees when standing so putting it on top of a table usually works pretty well. The string goes across the middle of the table in the air a foot or two below the ceiling, use the tape to hold it up. Two of the big plastic cups go in the corner of the table full of beer.
There are two players to a side, one player starts by throwing the dye UNDERhand OVER the string and bouncing it on the opponent’s side of the table. Any throws that are under the line do not count and result in the loss of a turn.
The game is played to seven. You score points by having the dye bounce your opponent’s side of the table and your opponents not catch it before it hits the floor. If the dye hits the floor before caught it is one point. If you make it into either plastic cup its worth two points, and both team members have to finish their drink. Winners must win by two. If a thrown dye bounces off the table and hits the side of the plastic cup the dye is dead, and no points are awarded even if the dye hits the floor. If a player throws the dye and it doesn’t hit the table BOTH members must drink. It is usually played where a player has five total drinks to finish the cup before it has to be gone, unless a player “sinks” it into the cup before that. It is more of an active game for smaller amounts of people, but a different game.

Quarters
Quarters is another fun game to play when you have people over. This is an easy game to play because you don’t need any unique materials to play. Other than people and beer/mixed drinks all you need is a couple quarters and a couple shot glasses. Plastic shot glasses are usually better than glass because this game can get very intense which leads to shattered shot glasses which is no fun for anyone. Its also best played around a table where everyone can stand around. You generally need around five or six people for this game to keep moving and be fun, with this you only need two quarters and two shot glasses. Extra quarters are recommended because they will fall on the floor and other things. More people require more shot glasses and quarters, but for right now well stick to the simple way.
How to shoot: the best way to shoot is to hold a quarter flat with your thumb and pointer finger around 3-4 inches away from the shot glass. You want to gently bounce the quarter off the surface so it bounces once and then into the shot glass. It takes a couple tries to get used to it, you’ll get used to it.
The game starts with the two shot glasses at opposite sides of the table. The two people start shooting at their own glass at the same time. If a person makes it on their first shot, they can send the shot glass to anyone, EXCEPT FOR THE PERSON WITH THE SHOT GLASS. It’s best to send it to a person to the very right or left of the shot glass to try and make people drink. If you make it on the 2nd or 100th shot, you pass the shot glass to the person right to the left of you.
When to drink: There are many variations to this part of the game, but this is the easiest way for learners, also the best way to keep the game moving constantly. When two people have shot glasses right next to each other and person on the RIGHT makes it before the person on the LEFT, and passes them by touching their opponents shot glass and passes the shot glass to the next person without a shot glass. The person who was passed has to stop shooting, take a drink, and start shooting again to try and get the new person to the left. This is a fun, intense game that can last for hours.

Screw The Dealer
Screw the dealer is another good game that can be used for a large group of people. It’s best when the number doesn’t get over 8 people because then the game slows down and people lose interest. It is another game that’s bets played with beer, mixed drinks could be a bad idea, especially if you’re the dealer that ends up getting screwed in the end. All you need for this game is beer, a full deck of cards, and some sort of a table that can hold 13 cards laid out in a row.
The game starts with one person as the dealer and everyone else standing around the table. Another person in the group (not the dealer) chooses a card in the deck. At this time the dealer peeks carefully at the top card on the deck. The dealer has to be sure that no one can see the card because it is very easy to cheat if they can see it (which can be fun if you’re trying to screw over a friend). The dealer tells the person whether the card is higher or lower than the card that was selected. The guesser uses this information to pick a new card they think it could be. Its best to look at the table and try and play your odds as the game goes on. Every player gets two guesses unless they get it right on the first guess.
When to drink: If the guesser gets the first and second guess wrong they drink the difference in number of cards between there last guess and the actual card. For example if the dealers card was a 7 and the person’s second guess was a 4, they take 3 drinks. If a person guesses the card right on the first guess the dealer has to take 10 drinks. If guessed right on the second guess the dealer has to take 5 drinks. This can be a lot of drinking especially when it comes to the end of the deck where people can play their odds in the deck to make the dealer drink a lot. A fun game that is very easy to learn and teach.

Needle in the Haystack
This game I just learned this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. This game requires a good number of people, maybe around 5-9 so it’s not too small where the drinking becomes too much and not too many where the game gets real slow and boring. All you need for the game is a deck of cards make sure it’s a full deck), one big cup for the whole table, a bit of beer, and possibly a big pitcher to keep the game going. Nothing kills the quality of a game better than if its really slow and boring, people start becoming uninterested and leaving all together. The big cup is used for everyone at the table at the beginning of the game a person pours some beer into the cup. It is best played at a table where everyone can stand or sit around. To start the game one person (who ever owns the place, or who ever thought to start the game) picks one random card out of the deck. Say 4 of clubs for example. Once the card is chosen someone draws a card randomly out of the pile of cards in the middle of the table. From there it goes around the table to one person at a time drawing a single card out of the pile. As cards are drawn people can continue adding more beer to the central cup until they feel like there is enough beer in there. Once someone draws the chosen card (4 of clubs for this example) that person has to drink the middle cup. Once the cup is drank that person gets to choose the next card, poor as much beer in the cup at they think is necessary, and the game starts again with drawing new cards.

Beer Pong
This first game is my personal favorite. To play beer pong you need 4 people, 12 plastic cups (preferably Solo), at least two ping pong balls, a 7 foot table, and plenty of beer. The table should be about waste high, with two players at each side. Each side of the table gets 11 cups, 10 for the game being played, the 11th used for the water cup. Before each turn both balls are dipped into the water cup to clean them off. You set up the cups in one big triangle, with four cups closest to the edge of the table, then three, two, and then one in front. This last cup is closest to the opponents. The cups are generally filled up ¼ with beer. The goal is to try and throw the ping pong balls into your opponent’s cups, the first one to eliminate all your opponents’ cups wins. The cups are taken away as the balls are made into the cup. Balls thrown into the cups = one cup taken. You can try to bounce the ball into one of the cups, and if made two cups are taken away. Balls that are bounced can be swatted away, so it is complicated to bounce it into the cups. As the cups are taken away, each side is usually allowed two re-racks. This is done before the team shoots and benefits by placing all of the cups closer together. If each teammate makes their shot, the two cups are removed and they get the balls back to shoot again. If both teams miss, it is then up to the other team to shoot. When one team makes their opponents last cup the game is then over, the loser as to drink all remaining beer and the new opponent comes to the table to play the winner.
This is best played when there aren’t a lot of people around wanting to participate. However, it can be very fun to get a couple tables together and set up either a single or double elimination a tournament. You would get team names and set up brackets like the ones used for the NCAA tournament.

Games
Most blogs from here on out will be about different games to play to increase the party's atmosphere. Most of these games should be played with beer, preferably a light beer that can be consumed at a faster pace without filling your stomach. Hard alcohol such as mixed drinks can be used, however this could end badly because they are intended for beer. People may also drink heavy beers, however there is a good chance of getting sick because of all the liquid that is being consumed. Different atmospheres call for different games, but most games covered will result in consuming a bit of alcohol.

Guideline
For those of you who don’t know what this blog is about yet, it’s all about drinking. Drinking can be a very fun social activity, but having some more knowledge on the topic can turn an ok night into a great night. Adding certain drinks, music, and games into parties will increase everyone’s attitude to have more fun. Throughout all of my posts I will list some activities or games that will include consuming a lot of alcohol in a short amount of time. There is no need to feel like you have to drink as much as listed, just a guideline; but I cannot be held responsible for overconsumption of alcohol. I am trying to share interesting ideas to create more fun for all, but how much each individual drinks is on them with no pressure from me.

What to drink?
Depending on the occasion of the night should determine what alcohol should be bought for the nights activities. If it’s a formal event, there should be a full bar of drinks for people to choose. This gives each individual a free range of what s/he wants to drink. Separate parties for men and women should have limited choices available. Male parties should always include beer as well as some hard alcohol available for mixed drinks and shots. Parties for women should include a central theme that goes with the occasion of the party. Margaritas, Mojito’s, Mai Thais, Pina Coladas, and Daiquiris are a couple of ideas for fun drinks for female parties. Pregame parties should include either beer, or a hard alcohol such as Vodka or Whisky to take shots and make drinks. Beer is probably a better option most of the time because games are usually included and individuals drinking hard liquor may not make it out of the pregame party. Pretty much every party should include some kind of beer, and depending on the event should determine what other drinks are included.
