High Low, Red Black

High low, red black is a good game when there are only two or three people around wanting to play a game. This is a very easy game to learn and play. All you need for this game is a deck of cards, table to play on, and something to drink; I recommend beer because the drinks can add up. Depending on how many people are playing, and how much everyone wants to drink you can determine how much of the deck of cards to use. With two people you can split the deck evenly so each person only has to go through half the deck, into thirds with three people playing, or each person can go through the whole deck. Any amount can be determined, but it’s easier to decide upon a percentage where you can split the cards up without having to count them out.
How to play: One person is the dealer and will have the deck for the entire time an individual is going. To start the dealer flips over a card face up, and that’s the card the decisions are made. On every card a player may guess high, low, red, or black on a card. If a player guesses the card right, they move onto the next card that is flipped down onto the original one. If the player gets it wrong, they take a drink and once again the card is flipped onto the original one. If the same card is flipped onto each other the player is automatically wrong and must drink. The game is over when the player gets through the amount of cards that were established at the beginning, and then it’s time to switch, the player becomes the dealer and the dealer becomes the player and they do it all over again.
