Connections

Connections is a fun game that can be played with pretty much any number of people. It is best played however with 5-7 players. It’s a fun game that keeps everyone interested the whole time because everyone can all be connected at the same time. It’s a good game because all you need is a full deck of cards, a table to play around, and a big pitcher of beer. Throughout the game there is only one dealer this can be anyone, easiest way to choose is whoever knows how to play or whoever has the deck of cards when the game is selected.
To play: The dealer starts by flipping a card over face up to the person to the left of them. This will continue to go around the table, having the dealer flip over each card face up to everyone playing until all the cards are gone.
Where the drinking comes into play: Every person who is connected at the same with similar cards has to drink the amount on the card. For example if one person has a King of diamonds and the next person has a 4 of diamonds, the first person has 13 drinks and the second player has four seconds. Players are connected by suits as well as numbers. Everyone at the table can be connected if the cards lay out right. Players can be connected by suits and numbers; for example a 4 of diamonds can be connected to a 6 of diamonds who is connected to a 6 of hearts who is connected with a Jack of hearts. Each person just listed would be connected and each player should drink the amount on the card. If the next card that is flipped over connects with the last one everyone that was just mentioned is connected all over again and needs to drink.
